This large publisher is seeking a Sales Manager for an international market leading magazine and website, aimed at the mind body and spirit market. You will be responsible for maintaining and building the core customer base and key clients, as well as playing an important role in the marketing and promotion of the magazine. The majority of the role will involve selling and account management over the phone, but will also be required at times to present face to face to decision makers at all levels. Reporting to the Managing Director you will have one dedicated advertising executive reporting to you. Significant advertising sales experience will be essential.

Our client is an established, specialist, market leading publisher, now seeking an experienced media sales person searching for their next challenge. The role is an internal one, that involves digital sales on the publishers website, which is a sister platfrom to their market leading print titles. You will ideally have at least 12/18 months experience in media sales, with digital sales experience being an obvious advantage. This large national, market leading publisher is seeking a regional sales trainer. The role will involve championing effective design, implementation and assessment of learning and development initiatives to the client’s sales division, in the area of sales, sales process, product knowledge and the industry the publisher serves, in line with clients key priorities, culture, values, people management framework and the goal of becoming a leading sales organisation. Responsibilities will include learning needs analysis, design and delivery, coaching-people management, evaluation and feedback, knowledge and induction. You will be a qualified training professional, to CIPD or NVQ level, have at least 5 years experience in a sales environment, field sales and telesales, preferably in either the motor retail industry or publishing.

You will need to have some previous experience selling online advertising to agencies.

This large publisher is seeking an experienced on-line senior salesperson with both client and advertising agency sales experience. The ideal candidate will be a heavyweight digital sales person with a solid contact list in the agency sector. This lovely company situated on the outskirts of Tunbridge Wells is seeking to recruit a Senior Telesales Executive. The role is to achieve all revenue targets and agreed objectives within given timescales and provide feedback from advertisers and users that will help with the ongoing development of the company and the products worked on. You will be responsible to the Sales Manager and have a minimum of a year's outbound media telesales experience, ideally in media telesales. Essential will be your ability to provide thought-provoking, stimulating and objective editorial across a portfolio of publications and websites aimed at the exhibition, event and conference industries.

   

FR407 Editor                                                             SW London           Up to 28k

A fantastic opportunity to join this well established UK leading b2b publishing company serving the exhibition and conference industries.  The client is seeking an experienced b2b editor who will be responsible for the content of two well established b2b magazines, one a news led industry publication and the other a news and feature led international title. You will ideally have at least two years relevent experience in capturing news content, feature writing and interviewing senior industry figures, in addition to layout skills etc and must view the attendance and subsequent socialising at industry events as a benefit, as maintaining and developing relationships with key industry people will be critical. Some international travel.    

 

FR492 Editor                                         Sussex                                       up to £40k

This established and specialized publisher is seeking an experienced editor to assume editorial responsibility for their market leading publication serving the conference industry. The ideal candidate would have a healthy mix of consumer newspaper and trade publishing experience, with a strong knowledge of how business communities work. In addition, online content experience would be an advantage. The obvious skill sets of news/feature writing, sub-editing, managing contributors/freelancers, supervising page layout etc are critical, as well experience of managing a team. The role also involves a significant ambassadorial presence, visiting trade shows, seminars and other events.

An enthusiastic and self motivated deputy editor is sought to work across two marketing magazines serving the pharmaceutical sector. This is a fantastic opportunity for a deputy editor with a proven track record at this level. You will be assisting on two market leading titles, one domestic monthly and one European bi-monthly, which are aimed at senior marketing decision makers, as well as contract publishing supplements.

The succesful candidate will be comfortable editing, subbing, commissioning and writing and will be at home working with key industry figures, academics and freelance writers. In addition the candidate must be confident in providing cover for either editor in their absence.

As the field sales exec you will maintain and grow exhibition stand sales within a national sales territory, generate sponsorship sales and ensure current client relationships are nurtured. This is a great opportunity to join a market leading exhibition design and build company and create what will be a newly combined team (4) and department, in estimating and purchasing. You will be responsible for proactively reviewing existing and negotiating on all supplier contracts, looking at ways of reducing costs, restructuring the department to make it a more efficient/effective team and service and provide all round team management and motivation. There will be lots of internal liaison and management report provision too. FR460 Marketing and Acquisition Manager   Kent & Surrey      £18k-£27k (doe)OTE £60k

Working for the European market leader of website creation and hosting which offers customers solutions on the design, development, hosting and management of websites.  You will be spending 2 days a week in the office working within the sales team participating in brain storming sessions, power hour calling sessions and general lead generation and appointment setting, with the other 3 days spent out in your territory at client meetings/presentations etc. You will be prospecting within your territory for a wide range of customers including SME’s, professionals, traders, hotels, restaurants.  You will need to adopt a disciplined approach to sales and have a desire for a challenge, with strong commitment, energy, discipline and team ethics.
